*A deranged lunatic is targeting homeless people in Las Vegas…and killing them while they sleep. Police suspect the man has shot four people — killing two of them. His latest victim, shot on February 2, is a man named James Lewis.
…and to make already bad matters even worse, the graphic murder was caught on surveillance camera.
According to a press conference statement by Las Vegas Police Capt. Robert Plummer, three of the four victims were homeless and three of the four were sleeping at the time they were shot, Lewis had been asleep under a bridge at the time he was shot.
The same gun was used in all four shootings, Plummer said.
Lewis’ daughter, who had been feverishly searching for her dad, is heartbroken.
Oneida Lewis Baker, told ABC News that her father had a love of boxing and the Denver Broncos.
Baker wonders why her father was homeless “when he has kids and grandkids, a mom and dad still alive, brothers and nieces and nephews and cousins. Why? We absolutely love you and adore you.”
“As much as I did to try to find him and I didn’t come up with anything, you still shouldn’t have [taken] his life,” she said. “He still should be here today regardless of if he’s homeless or not.”
Baker said the killer should not be free and she awaits his capture so that she can see him in court and ask one question.
