*A gift that keeps on giving. That is definitely what the son of Antonio Vargas was given for Christmas. And though the day has come and gone, its a gift that will never grow old.
A stuffed monkey may seem like a cute, yet simple gift. But not if it has the voice of someone special inside.
Now, every time the child presses one of the monkey’s hands, he will hear a message in the voice of his late mother; who died on July 4th of this year.
The kids’ mom used to call the child “my little monkey” and on Sunday, December 24th, when many in the Latina community get together as a family to celebrate Christmas, Antonio Vargas posted the very special message on Facebook saying…
This is a real big touching moment as a parent prepping this monkey to have a heartbeat and to speak to my son, so that my son can hear his mother’s voice again. She passed away on 4th of July. We always called our son our little monkey. So on Christmas Day his dream came true!!! I love my little man with all my heart, Daddy loves you…
Take a look at the beautiful video below where Vargas is prepping the monkey with a heartbeat and the voice before giving it to his son. Then comes the moment of truth! It’s beautiful.
Does this inspire you to do the same for someone you love?
