When compared with the amount of energy needed to run a regular car powered by gasoline, the electric car built by the DeLaSalle students is equal to 452 miles per gallon!
One student, Kevin Duley, had the typical dream of becoming a professional basketball player, but the invention changed his mind. He now wants to be a scientist.
