GLAAD went after D.L. Hughley and Sherri Shepard in Variety recently with a full page ad against the comedians latest comments on ‘The View’ during a debate over the FDA’s decision to not allow homosexuals to donate blood.  They were making a point that black men on the “DL” have given black women HIV at an alarming rate and there is a connection.  D.L. Hughley expressed to the group that the FDA has substantial reasoning behind their decision based on black women’s climbing HIV rates.  But, he also doesn’t agree with government regulation of the homosexual community. Some people will go through hell or high water…or the airport to have an exotic pet.  Roberto Sol Cabrera Zavaleta, 38, was shaking in his boots when he was discovered in a Mexican airport with monkeys under his clothing.  He said he paid for the monkeys, but he immediately started sweating the moment authorities asked him, “What are you declaring today?” (loosely translated)  Two of the monkeys (more…)

Ex Illinois State Senate candidate Cedra Crenshaw.

Chicago has turned into a hotbed of racial political warfare.  This much action hasn’t been seen since the fight over President Obama’s senate seat and his campaign.  The NAACP is putting the tea party’s feet to the fire for their ”explicitly racist behavior” while a black woman Republican that was making a run for state senate was shut out by Illinois Democrats on a technicality for what she believes is racially motivated. It appears that Detroit and New Orleans is in a miserable battle of economic downturns.  Detroit has seen plant closures and thousands laid off and now New Orleans is set to take yet another blow to its nearly non-existant economy. Northrop Grumman has now announced that they are closing their Avondale plant and it will take 5,000 jobs with them. (more…)

YES!! It is wonderful to hear that finally the NBA’s management is being penalized for their actions!  The NBA’s players are usually on the receiving end of the fines, but the blatant, demeaning, disgusting, actions of Cleveland Cavaliers’ owner Dan Gilbert in writing that filthy letter he claimed was to the fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers must’ve pissed off more than just me, but also the longtime NBA Commissioner David Stern.
