Melody Ross, 16, honor student at Woodrow Wilson High School fatally shot at Homecoming game.

Here we go again!   We have to put this story up and let the family know that we have them in our prayers.  We are now mourning the loss of yet another bright light in our community.

More specifically, the Long Beach community in Southern California has lost an honor roll student and track athlete.

The young lady, 16-year old Melody Ross, was an innocent bystander at the Homecoming game for her high school when a fight broke out and things escalated immediately. (more…)

Serial rapist/killer Anthony Sowell, back in custody in Cleveland.

Cleveland was terrorized over the weekend by a psycho that raped and killed six women and left their bodies to rot in his house.

Anthony Sowell, 50, is a registered sex offender and he had already done 15 years in the penitentiary for raping a 21-year old girl and strangling her in his room in 1989.

But according to the Associated Press, he didn’t have to let anyone in the house unless there was reason for suspicion of a crime since he isn’t on probation. (more…)

The nationality of the woman is not yet known, but she had better hurry up and get a translator.

The Bergen County, NJ, woman, 37-year old Elida Maroquinn, somehow misconstrued notes brought home from school regarding a “field trip and a progress report,” according to NJ.com.

In her mind, they somehow translated into someone taking her kids from her.  Well, if they weren’t, they most certainly are now. (more…)
