This family took it upon themselves to start a garden because of the escalating food prices, but they had no idea they had such a green thumb.  The gargantuan cucumber weighed in at 30lbs.  Check it out:

         Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to,
         doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have.  Ralph and Edna were
         both patients in a mental hospital.  One day while they were walking
         past the hospital swimming pool. Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end.

         He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there.

         Edna promptly jumped in to save him.  She swam to the bottom and
         pulled him out.  When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna’s heroic
         act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she
         now considered her to be mentally stable.

         When she went to tell Edna the news she said, ‘Edna, I have good
         news and bad news.  The good news is you’re being discharged, since you were
         able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of
         the person you love.  I have concluded that your act displays sound
         mindedness.                   

         The bad news is, Ralph hung himself in the bathroom with his
         bathrobe belt right after you saved him.  I am so sorry, but he’s dead.’

         Edna replied, ‘He didn’t hang himself, I put him there to dry.  How
         soon can I go home?’

President Obama must be tickled at the thought of apologizing for his comments to the Mayor of Las Vegas.  It definitely seems outlandish and unusual to us.  The former President spoke with his foot in his mouth so often, he should’ve required a wheelchair to get around.  And not only did he mess up when speaking on his own turf, but he had been caught on occasions too numerous to mention on foreign soil making an ass of himself.

The Chris Brown and Rihanna fallout is unfortunate to say the least.  But, not as celebrities or role models, but young people with their lives underneath a pernicious microscope.  We need to be careful of how this whole thing is handled as they are very young people with very young people looking at them and modeling themselves behind them.

Some vigilante media have been disrespectful and irresponsible as the incident unfolds.  The latest act of disrespect to both of them is  photos that have been posted online that may or may not be doctored. (more…)

Tank and LaLa gave Kelly Rowland a surprise birthday party Tuesday night at Opera in Hollywood.  In attendance were Beyonce and Michelle.  My guess is that the “beef” between Mathew and Kelly had no bearing on Kelly and Beyonce’s relationship.  Check out a video from the party here. (more…)

 The former Mayor of D.C. who will forever go down in history as the infamous crack smoking mayor that was stung by F.B.I. during his third term as mayor in 1991, is back in a legal tangle again.  But, his troubles, now at the age of 72, are a lot less demeaning and embarrassing. (more…)
