*We’ve all been there. You feel like hell, call the doctor, an appointment is made. You get there and end up waiting. And waiting. And waiting. But Jessica Stipe’s story takes the wait to a whole ‘nother level after she complained to the doctor who eventually told her to “Get the hell out!”
I won’t make you wait. Yes, he is being investigated.
So sick she was regurgitating in a garbage can in the doctor’s waiting room, Stipe, who reportedly believes she is fighting pneumonia, began documenting her adventure on Facebook after she found herself still waiting at 7:45 to see the doctor with whom she had a 6:30 appointment.
The Independent Florida Alligator — the student newspaper for the University of Florida reports 38-year-old Stipe wrote in a Facebook post…
?All they had me do was pee in a cup to see if I’m pregnant. I know I’m not.?
The pub says Stipe approached her doctor around 7:45 p.m. and there was a confrontation which her daughter caught on tape.
Roll tape baby.
An argument quickly escalated, and when the doctor saw he was being taped he allegedly shoved Stipe’s daughter and grabbed her phone.
Now the Gainesvilles Police has opened a criminal investigation on doctor, Peter Gallogly, of Gainesville After Hours Clinic, according to what officer Ben Tobias told the Gainesville Sun on Tuesday.
And according to a post on the clinic’s Facebook page the doctor says Stipe was ?… increasingly belligerent and abusive to the office staff …?
The video, which as of Wednesday has been viewed on Facebook 250,000 times, only shows a snippet of the heated exchanged; which reportedly went down after the patient asked for her co-pay back.
?You came in and said, ?I?m going to check your pee,?? she said to the doctor. ?I?m miserable.?
When Stipe said she just wanted to go to bed, the doctor reportedly pointed towards the door.
?Then fine. Get the hell out,? he said. ?Get your money and get the hell out…..If you go to CareSpot you?re waiting for three hours. Go to the ER and wait for nine hours.?
As the patient and her daughter were walking out, the doctor realized the daughter had been recording.
?Mom, I got it on video, it doesn?t matter,? the daughter said, and asked the doctor: ?What?s your name??
That’s when he reportedly grabbed the phone and began to walk off with it.
Dr. Gallogly also writes in a lengthy FB post explaining his side of the incident…

?At the end of the events, I most regrettably lost my temper, and spoke to the women in a most unprofessional manner,? Gallogly said. ?I make no excuses for my unacceptable behavior. But please appreciate that the video is but the last minute or two of a very abusive tirade against my office staff by the two women.?

Needless to say, this little incident probably won’t help the clinic’s Yelp reviews, especially since people can be so unforgiving.
