*Who knew? Barbie has developed tits and she’s putting them to good use. A smart mom and artist named Betty Strachan came up with a great way to educate children using something every little girl plays with.
Strachan has created a fine niche for herself as an artist, custom designing Barbie dolls by painting new faces on them.
Wait. Sidebar. Can we assume she has gotten permission from Mattel?
Anyway, the talented artist calls her new creation, “Mamas Worldwide Barbie.”
Wonder what brought this on? Strachan thought you might, and told the the Huffington Post…
“The decision to make a breastfeeding doll didn’t come consciously. I’m a member of a mothers’ group that’s comprised of very lovely and supportive women. I remember one day, I was drawing the new face on a Barbie doll, and she just seemed to be the embodiment of the entire group.”
“Everyone in my mothers’ group thought it was great, so I posted her on my Instagram page,” Strachan, who resides in Brisbane, Australia, explained. “After that, I received a few requests to make more, and I realized that it was really something that should be available ― because, like most things that society deems unacceptable, educating children is the way to erase the stigma behind it.”
