*Yep. I agree with what you’re thinking. Based on that headline, this is some sick ass sh*t. And it gets even sicker. The piece of sh*t that hung the dog has also been accused of raping it.
I’ll give you a minute to rinse out your mouth.
“Diamond” was the puppy’s name, and she worked as a service dog. Her little body was discovered by a biker on March 22.
It was hanging from a tree.
A veterinarian said the dog died of asphyxiation, and scratch marks were evident of her struggle. But the official also said that Diamond was severely sexually abused as well.
Animal control officer Erika Jones got some background on 33-year-old James Leroy Evans, who told officials, “I did it! I hung her,” according to court documents viewed by The Olympian. He said the dog had killed his pet Iguana.
“What I know from family members is that he’s got an explosive personality,” Thurston County animal control officer Erika Johnson said. “He’s got some real anger issues.” She admitted to The Olympian, “This is probably one of the worst cases I’ve ever seen. The degree of violence that animal went through before her death, I really couldn’t wrap my mind around it.”
Diamond provided emotional support for an 8-year-old boy. The dog was actually staying with its killer, who is a relative of the owner, while that owner tried to find housing that would accept pets, according to Q13Fox.
Evans, who has an arms-length rap sheet, was arrested and released from a Thurston County Jail after posting $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to be back in court on April 26.
Hey, I’ve got an idea about how Evans’ punishment should go! Nah, that’s OK. I’m not even gonna sink that low…out loud.
