*Damn. Are we THAT insecure?
Jimmy Kimmel put California residents on blast recently, when he sent cameras out into the streets to ask people if they voted, here in California, on Super Tuesday.
Now that may not seem like an “out-of-the-ordinary” question to you. After all, today is Friday. “Super Tuesday” just passed.
But here’s the thing.
While voting DID take place in some states on that day…
California was not one of them.
But as you will see in the video below, that FACT didn’t appear to matter to the California residents who spoke (without stuttering, mind you) on camera, to the contrary.
And you know, it’s downright hilarious at first…right before it becomes disgusting; watching people go so deeply into the lie.
The off-camera reporter asks people on the street if they voted on “Super Tuesday.” Then she asks them who did they vote for. And finally, how “crazy” was their polling place.
And not ONE of them appeared “stuck” for an answer.
Again I ask, are we THAT insecure? If we feel so guilty about something that we have to lie about it, THAT alone should tell us that:
Maybe. Perhaps. We should GET interested.
It is rather hilarious though, knowing up front (Kimmel tells the audience in advance) that these people are lying through their teeth.
And why did the brother (around the 1:20 mark) have to get so DESCRIPTIVE with HIS lie?
And “Marilyn” will kill ya.
If you know me, you know that I am ALWAYS looking for the good in a story. Somewhere. So as I sit in judgement of these lying ass people, I also say, “Well, there’s a camera in their face!” As if that excuses what they did!
But hey, does that judgement make it any less true?
You can tell by the way some of the more nervous people glance at the camera, that they feel they have to say SOMETHING.
Even if its a damn lie.
Here’s the video starring, THE LIARS!
