*Yikes! What in the world is that in the photo above? It supposedly washed up on a beach in Santa Barbara, California, last week after the rains leaving those who live in the area and those just visiting to wonder, “What the…?”
“I’d say it looks like a combination of a seal and a dog with fangs dried up, potentially,” resident Michael Curtis told KEYT-TV.
“To me it looks reminiscent of a dinosaur…like an old dog, ancient,” Josh Curtis added.
It’s brown and hairless, with claws and fangs. And the KEYT news anchors say it’s not very big – not much larger than the broken branches lying next to it.
Whatever it is, it sure looks like it suffered…Mouth all open in a growl.
The mystery creature was found near a drain washout on the East Beach of Santa Barbara. There had been no other sighting of similar animals in the area, at least not to the knowledge of KEYT. But the Daily Mail did report a similar creature was discovered in San Diego – about 200 miles from Santa Barbara – in June 2012.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was created by all the crap people throw in the water. OK, I’ve been watching too much Sci-fi.
