*The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that started off with the purest of intentions, to raise money that will support the fight against the disease and have a little brave fun in the process, turned ugly when a group of high school kids recently poured urine and feces on a special needs student who thought he was participating in the real challenge. A video on social media (see below) showed the cruel prank, and now, “Price Is Right” host Drew Carey wants to catch the ones who did it.

Carey, who has lost a lot of weight over the years and looks great, was flabbergasted, as were a lot of folks, who witnessed the act by a group of Ohio teenagers, who obviously thought it was cute to pull such a prank on the autistic boy. Carey is showing what a generous heart he has, by offering to chip in $10,000 towards a reward fund.

“WTF? Just saw this. Horrendous. These kids should be arrested and expelled,” Carey tweeted after reading a Cleveland.com report about a group of Bay Village High School students who tricked a 14-year-old special needs student into dumping a bucket full of urine, spit and feces on his head.

“If the Bay Village PD wants to start a reward fund to find who did this, contact me. I’ll donate $10k,” Carey added.

Both the police department and Bay Village school district are eager to discipline the teens responsible for filming the prank Police Chief Mark Spaetzel called “reprehensible.”

Investigators are reviewing a copy of the video, which the attackers recorded on the victim’s phone and then posted to social media.

Cleveland is where Carey, a comedian and former sitcom star, grew up and he says if the perpetrators are found without a monetary incentive, he will offer his $10,000 to an autism charity.

See the offensive video below. If you know anything at all about the people who did this, contact the Oregon Police Department or the Bay Village School District.
