*As if trying to keep her head up as she grieves for the dad she adored was not enough, Zelda Williams – daughter of late actor, Robin Williams, has vowed to get off of Twitter and Instagram “possibly forever” after trolls sent her fake images they claim is the body of her dead father.
“I’m shaking. I can’t. Please. Twitter requires a link and I won’t open it. Don’t either. Please,” she said.
The photo was a fake that was photoshopped to look like Williams. The two accounts that tweeted the message, @PimpStory and @MrGoosebuster, have been suspended.
I’m sorry. I should’ve risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye.
Zelda and her dad loved computer games. She was named after one of his favorite computer games – “The Legend of Zelda,” – a princess, no less.
Robin and Zelda even appeared in adverts for the gaming franchise.
“… As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car. Right after you’ve had it washed. After all, he loved to laugh too.
I have a feeling Robin would have loved that comeback.
