New Documentary, ‘Hidden Colors’ Explores ‘The Rules Of Racism’ (Watch)

HIDDENCOLORS 3 poster*The cultural history of African Americans, identity and race will be taken on this summer in the documentary, Hidden Colors.” 

A trailer was recently released for the film’s third installment, “The Rules Of Racism” and it looks good. With a variety of diverse speakers from scholars to entertainment vets the likes of which are Nas, KRS-ONE, and Paul Mooney – the question is posed by Mooney, who says, “whites have always done whatever they wanted to black people, so what are the rules?”

Tariq “Elite” Nasheed — a New York Times bestselling author, public speaker, and radio host is the series’ director and producer. He is widely known for his social commentary and in the trailer, briefly alludes to his motivation in approaching the topic of racism.

“There’s never been a real dialogue in America about race because every time we talk about race the conversation then turns into ‘what’s wrong with black people.'”
