Dang! Dude Stole Woman’s Dog and TV…On Their First Date!

Puppy Stolen on first date*Dude, are you kidding me…You stole my dog?

A New Jersey woman who went on a first date with a guy she met online is most likely still in shock. After she gets over that, she’ll probably kick herself for inviting somebody she hardly knew in the first place back to her home.

Generally, after that first date, friends who were made aware of it will ask, “How’d it go?” They expect to hear things like, “Oh, he’s nice but he talked about himself the whole time,” or “What a jerk, he didn’t even pay for my meal.”

What they don’t expect to hear is, “We went back to my place. I got distracted in another room, and when I returned the guy, my dog and my big screen TV were gone!

That’s exactly what happened according to Dover police, who shared the incident with Parsippany’s Daily Record. The woman’s Yorkshire Terrier was named Violet, and she is worth $4,000 according to her owner. The TV is valued at $3,000.

And of course the woman had limited information on this man, who she knew only as “Joel.”

She believes he lives in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Sgt. Richard Gonzalez says police are searching for the man and dog and are checking other locations the short-lived couple visited.

Thanks to Huffington Post for this weird news story.

  1. I would like to thank you for the efforts you’ve
put in writing this blog. I really hope to see the
same high-grade content by you later on as well.
In fact, your creative writing abilities has encouraged me to
get my own, personal blog now 😉

  2. I’m impressed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both
educative and engaging, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head.
The problem is an issue that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.

I’m very happy I found this in my search for something
    regarding this.
