In Clayton County, Georgia school officials are investigating reports that four kindergarten students participated in sexually inappropriate activities in a classroom.
According to Channel 2 Action News, the mother of one of the students says she is upset because a teacher and a parapro were in the James Jackson Elementary School classroom at the time of the inappropriate and indecent behavior and somehow failed to notice it.
“Where was her teacher?” the unidentified mother asked Channel 2. “Why didn’t nobody see it? Why didn’t nobody stop it?
The woman’s daughter gave investigators a statement that the four children on multiple occasions engaged in sexual activity so abnormal, the girl’s mother took her to the doctor to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases, Channel 2 reported.
“We are completely disturbed about this incident,” Clayton County Schools spokeswoman Vicki Gavalas told Channel 2.
“We are taking this very seriously,” Gavalas said. “We are conducting a thorough investigation of what happened.”
