The restaurants in rural areas must be under forest attack all the time. Just living in the suburbs will bring a fair share of raccoons and local wildlife to home trash cans.
In Colorado Springs, the Edleweiss Restaurant, located in the southern part of the city, got a customer they would have never expected for dinner. The bear wasn’t planning on coming inside anyway. The surveillance video for the restaurant caught the bear mulling over their trash and, after making his selection via sniffing, he makes off with one of the dumpsters.
Looking like a waiter pushing a tray to his table, he effortlessly grabs the largest dumper out of two behind the restaurant and rolls on out of sight. According to the report from Fox 31 Denver, the restaurant posted the maneuver to their Facebook page saying:
“Intruder stealing the dumpster last night,” Edleweiss wrote under the surveillance video on its Facebook page. “WOW. This must be the Mama.”
