Barbara Wawa and the rest of the crew over at ABC tried to deny it for months, but it’s finally been confirmed by Fox.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is headed to the highly conservative and republican Fox news channel to co-host ‘Fox And Friends’ with the usual suspects: Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade, and Gretchen Carlson.
“I have been a long-time fan of ‘Fox & Friends’ and am excited to be joining their team in September as it is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home,” Hasselbeck said in a written Fox News Channel announcement.
Well, Whoopi kinda gave her farewell already when she said “I really don’t give a f***!” during an interview with Vanity Fair that EURweb reported back in April. Barbara looked in the camera and lied to us, but will probably save face when Elisabeth exits The View today, by saying, “I didn’t say she would NEVER leave, just not when you all thought she would.” But Barbara has already released this statement through ABC.
“When Elisabeth survived ‘Survivor,’ we wanted to make sure she would stay afloat,” said Barbara Walters, executive producer of “The View.” “We have had 10 wonderful years with her and she will now be swimming in new waters. We will miss her and wish her everything good.”
We say GOODBYE to her as well! She should be a perfect fit over there at Fox. Good luck out there! Read more here.
