Domino’s tries out a new delivery service using a drone “DomiCopter.”

The pizza places around the country are so numerous we would never complete a list if we attempted it here.  So, when you think of your favorite pizza place there’s something that sets it apart from the others.

Domino’s is definitely setting themselves apart from the rest with a new technology they are testing called “DomiCopter.”  The DomiCopter is a sort of drone delivery system without the weaponry.  The only bombs this plane might drop is a 2-liter soda …which they’re fitting the planes with as well, according to NBC’s Today show.

Last month, the copter made a successful delivery last month of two large pepperoni pizzas in 10 minutes navigated by an experienced drone pilot for a four-mile distance to the city of Guildford, outside of London.  While the test run went well, there doesn’t appear to be a drone pizza delivery service in our near future.
