By now everyone is praising Charles Ramsey, some of us have even nicknamed him Uncle Charlie…ok maybe just me, for his heroic rescue of the women that had been kidnapped a decade ago and held captive in a Cleveland home. But Ramsey does not feel like a hero at all.
Ramsey was interviewed by Anderson Cooper Tuesday and he told him that he’s not any different than he is and he’s not interested in any reward. He shared his secret to heroic success with Cooper saying:
“I’m a christian, an American, I’m just like you. We bleed the same blood, put our pants on the same way. It’s just that…you gotta…put that…bein’ a…coward and I don’t wanna get it nobody’s business. You gotta put that away for a minute.” Then he interrupts Anderson’s response saying, “You gotta have some cojones, bro! That’s all it’s about. It’s about cojones on this planet.”
When he asked him about the reward that the FBI is offering, he showed himself to be even more respectable and humble by matter of factly saying:
“I tell you what you do, give it to them. ‘Cause if folks been following this case since last night and they’ve been following me, you know I got a job anyway.”
Ramsey has also been having trouble sleeping since he made the discovery. He told Anderson that the only time he had time sleeping before is because he didn’t have enough money maybe to cover his bills. But, you have to see the interview and watch the look on his face when he says it. Priceless!
But now it’s time to look into the insolance going on in Cleveland’s police department that led to these girls’ tragic circumstances for an entire decade.
BRAVO UNCLE CHARLIE! WE ARE LOVIN’ YOU MORE AND MORE EVERY TIME YOU’RE INTERVIEWED!
Check him out with Anderson Cooper!
