The social media sites are branching and blossoming with more and more availability to any and everything every day.
Now Twitter has launched Twitter #Music servie, which makes artists music available depending on the buzz generated about that artist on Twitter. So you can make your friend’s music a hot commodity on Twitter if you can get a Twitter community tweeting about them.
Twitter made Twitter #Music official Thursday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America. They will be offering a downloadable iOS app later, but it’s available on the web now. The service was test marketed by celebrities and celebrity musicians like Ryan Seacrest, Wiz Khalifa and Blake Shelton. It’s only after their stamp of approval that we are now getting the opportunity to check out the service.
Some critics have already found the service very useful and as USA Today’s Edward C. Baig put it:
“I like what I’ve seen — and mostly heard — so far, and appreciate the opportunity to discover new artists and hear fresh material.”
By rolling out the new goods on Good Morning America, Twitter hopes to attract an older demographic. Twitter’s users are mainly between the ages of 18 and 29 and Good Morning America’s demographic is between the ages of 50 and 64. The service may either give them a reason to join Twitter or enhance their Twitter experience.
