Rapper/Activist goes in on LL Cool J for his part in the song “Accidental Racist” with new diss track “What the Hell” set to LL’s “Rock the Bells”.

LL Cool J and country artist Brad Paisley have garnered their share of criticism after they dropped the single “Accidental Racist” to, as they say, get a conversation started on racism and/or the racial discord in America.

The EUR reported LL’s explanation about the single with Brad Paisley as just a sort of truce record that would spark a conversation between those good ol’ boys and do-rag wearin’, gold chain toting populace of black folks [that we should be clear that all of us do not wear].  He said he was not trying to get us to forget about slavery, but take the yolk off our necks, both black and red, that binds us all to the tragedy of slavery.

“I would never, ever, ever suggest to anyone that we should forget slavery and act like that didn’t happen,” he told Leno Thursday night. “I understand the systemic racism that exists. I get that. But you know what? If that playing field is unlevel, and you think it’s unfair, then maybe putting down some of that baggage will help you make it up that hill a little easier.”

Well, rapper/activist Nyoil thought that LL must’ve traded his soul to fit in with the white folks as he penned a track called “What the Hell” which uses LL’s “Rock the Bells” for his music to his diss lyrics.  He is not buying LL’s explanation and is willing to sit down with the self-proclaimed G.O.A.T., according to the end of the track.

But the track begins with:

“L.L. Cool J so out like hell…off he fell, can’t you tell, what was homie thinking, yo somebody’s gotta rock that bell!”

“We’ve been waitin’ and debatin’ for meaningful conversation …he forgot he wore gold chains but NY but came to remind you it shackled your brain you playin a game you payin off your fame with our pain, it’s like no pride remains son is halfway insane.”

Listen to the track “What the Hell” and tell us what you think?  You can also listen to the interview with the rapper Nyoil and Professor Anthea Butler of the University of Pennsylvania, who is a frequent contributor on MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry’s show, on the Blogtalkradio show Madness and Reality Radio show on a segment called:  Accidental Racist: Brad Paisley and LL Cool J & Mending Fences.
