There are all kinds of tricksters on the streets promising authentic jewelry, a chance to win double your money and now full bred pooches.
But, like all other street salesmen, one man that was promising toy poodles for sale for $150 was really selling ferrets! That’s right, he got a man to believe that the fluffed up ferrets were really toy poodles. It turns out that the ferrets were on steroids.
The poodles, um, ferrets were purchased at Argentina’s largest bazaar, La Salada. So not only did he pull off the dupe of the week, he did it at the biggest market time in the country. Once the man took the faux poodle to the veterinarian, he was struck with the startling news.
The ferret had been given steroids at birth “to increase their size and then had some extra grooming to make their coats resemble a fluffy toy poodle.”
Whoa! Read more here. You think he could’ve got away with that here in the U.S.?
