Another Cruise Ship Turns Around, Death On Board


Cruising around the world has been a dream for many families for some time.  But as the cruise ship industry falters time and time again, cruising may be a dream voluntarily deferred.

On Sunday, Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas, which cruises out of Baltimore, Maryland, joined ranks with Carnival cruise line with a tragic incident while en route to the Bahamas. A 62-year-old Virginia woman was found dead in her cabin by her husband on Sunday.  The ship arrived back in Baltimore’s port on Monday as scheduled, according to the Huffington Post.

So far FBI Baltimore field office spokesman Rich Wolf is not commenting on whether foul play was evinced by the crime scene, but the husband is being interviewed by agents.  A full autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

It’s hard to believe that vacations are getting gradually dangerous.  What are we working so hard for if we can’t at some point enjoy our hard work with a great vacation that won’t kill us?
