Martin Family Remembers Trayvon in NYC Anniversary Vigil Tonight

Tue, Feb 26, 2013

Society, What's Up

In June, the Trayvon Martin trial against George Zimmerman will begin and hopefully this tragedy will come to a conclusion that will appease the country.  But, trial or no trial, the Martin family will never see their child again and even a conviction will not bring their child back.

The Martin family has planned a vigil in New York City to remember their son, Trayvon, one year after his death. His parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, are scheduled to take part in the event at 6 p.m. in Union Square Park, along with their attorneys and others, according to the Associated Press. According to the report, “a moment of silence is scheduled for 7:17 p.m.” It is events like these that will help build the support of the family as they prepare to relive the most horrific details of their son’s death during the trial.

So, if you can attend with support use this information and attend.
