Finally, there’s been a break in the case, we reported January 16, on little 5-year-old Nailla Robinson, who was kidnapped from her school in West Philadelphia and brutally attacked.
We reported one update on February 3, where a rally was given on her behalf and an $85,000 reward was being offered for information leading to the arrest of her brutal kidnappers. On Valentine’s Day, police finally got a break when they arrested 19-year-old Christina Regusters, according to ABC. The woman’s DNA linked her to the crime scene in a home on Philadelphia’s west side where three others were taken in for questioning.
They believe that Regusters was the woman seen on the girl’s elementary school surveillance video wearing muslim garb and walking the girl out of her school. A major component in the case is a macaw that was taken from the home. The little girl told investigators that her abductors told her if she didn’t do as she was told the bird would “pluck her eyes out.”
Regusters was arrested in the daycare where she worked. This daycare is the same daycare that Robinson attended for after care when she left school. This may explain the child’s familiarity with her and why she would leave with her. If you think this teen should be held under the jail, don’t worry. The list of charges against her will surely help to keep her imprisoned for the rest of her life.
Capt. John Darby rattled off the 14 charges against her, of which 11 of them are felonies:
-involuntary deviant sexual intercourse
The list goes on and on and hopefully, all add up to a confession. If she sees this laundry list of crimes against her, surely she will give up the others that were involved. At this point, she has nothing to lose and may as well give up the others.
