Everyone loves Jeopardy! It’s intriguing for those of us that watch and learn, and exciting for those of us that compete from home yelling the questions at the television. It even gives teenagers a chance at winning big cash and garnering academic bragging rights among their peers.
Today, Leonard Cooper, is one of those teenagers. He’s a 17-year-old from Little Rock, Arkansas, that is enjoying his triumphant win on Jeopardy Teen Tournament. Cooper not only won the competition, but he won after giving a priceless wrong answer in the form of a question, of course.
The last answer given to the teenage competitors was in the final category ‘Military Men’ which read: ‘On June 6, 1944, he said, “The eyes of the world are upon you.” Cooper answered with this question:
“Who is some guy in Normandy? But I just won $75,000.”
According to various news reports, the high school senior is $75,000 richer and plans to use his winnings for college. Go ‘head Leonard Cooper! No one will ever forget you…or your afro.
