On January 16, we reported an awful, but heroic story of a man by the name of Nelson Mandela Myers, who rescued 5-year-old Na’illa Robinson on his way to work. She was kidnapped from her elementary school and he later found her underneath a slide on a playground en route to his job, soaking wet in freezing temperatures, wearing only an adult size black t-shirt in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 15.
Well, we thought the story stopped there and all was well with the world until we found out from an inside source that she had been so brutally, sexually assaulted that she has to wear a colostomy bag. The story has yet to gain national attention and we are wondering why.
There was a rally in Philadelphia to garner attention, so that her kidnappers and/or attackers will be captured sooner than later. The FBI and the U.S. Marshals have joined Philadelphia Police to hunt down those animals responsible for this unthinkable crime.
Please help bring more attention to this story in an effort to bring her abductors to justice. The reward for information leading to their arrest is up to $85,000 with $30,000 coming from the office of State Senator Anthony Hardy Williams. Williams said:
“I will work night and day from now until the time this person’s condemned to hell.”
Na’illa was able to give only a small description of the man that attacked her. She said they blindfolded her. The ABC report said:
“The man being sought is described as a light-skinned, possibly white, man in his mid-thirties with short brown hair. The girl told police he was wearing sweat pants and a blue long-sleeved t-shirt.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Philadelphia Police at 215-686-TIPS (8477), send a text message to PPD TIP (773847) or send a tip through phillypolice.com.
