The schools of America are becoming real battlegrounds and school districts are fighting hard to keep students safe. But parents and students have to be a a part of the solution to maintaining that security.
But, in Swissvale, Pennsylvania, the efforts on behalf of students and parents are low as a riot-like brawl broke out at a school bus stop on Monday and Tuesday. Both the students and the parents were reportedly from the Woodland Hills School district. Authorities say as many as 60 people were involved.
Police have already arrested five adults and minors from the fight, but the Swissvale Police Chief Greg Geppert vowed to lock up every single person involved as more and more evidence from the video footage and witnesses come forward with information. There hasn’t been any information on how or why the fight took place, but as you will see on the video, it is complete mayhem with adults and kids dukin’ it out with each other.
A woman that lives on the street and watched the whole thing from her porch told local CBS KDKA reporter that another fight was planned and that her nephew was involved in the first couple brawls. She said that a Facebook posting revealed that there was another fight planned and it would be a “RIP session.” The term RIP session is meant to insinuate that a death will occur.
