There are various types of media portals that use what they can to get your attention, especially when they’re only online.
The Drudge Report, run by Matt Drudge, put up an incendiary headline to possibly describe their feelings toward Quentin Tarrantino’s new upcoming film “Django Unchained“, set to hit theaters on Christmas Day.
Some are obviously upset by the film already and the views are coming from both liberals and right wing groups. I’m kind of intrigued by the release date. Christmas day for something like this? We have not had the privilege of a pre-screening, but the gist seems to be Oprah’s “Beloved” times 1,000. Not really a christmas season film, right?
Well the film is obviously got all up in the Matt Drudge’s crawl and he let it be known in the headline he ran with Quentin Tarantino’s face attached. A few reviewers at the Huffington Post weighed in to give us some perspective on what they believe is the problem with this headline.
Frankly, I’m quite tired of Quentin Tarantino and his excuses to use the N-word! I dunno! Soooomethin’ about him rubs me wrong with the use of the word ever since Pulp Fiction. What do you think? Check out the reviewers below.
