Cory Booker casts vote for Shanique Davis Speight for a vacant city council that led to a near riot, Tuesday, Novemer 20, 2012.

Newark, New Jersey is up in arms over the newest replacement on their City Council, but for reasons that may surprise you.

Residents rushed the council stage and folks were pepper sprayed and trampled.  Residents feel that this is an underhanded move on the part of the Booker administration to block his opponent. After all Booker has done for the communities of Newark?  Wow! What’s really going on?  After he made his vote, residents stood and chanted

“Cory’s gotta go!”

Uh oh! Please don’t say we’re getting ready to see Booker’s skeleton’s fall out of the closet.  After the Elmo debacle and Twinkies leaving the shelves, I don’t know how much more we can handle.
