The NBA has just taken to the paint and there’s already a squabble stirring up between players. It appears that as the season begins, there may be a hater on the court.
Boston Celtics’ Rajon Rondo came out the gate locked, cocked, and ready Tuesday night. He wanted the game bad against the Miami Heat and Dwyane Wade was not giving it to him…so he took it! Well, he tried to.
Wade was almost put in a sleeper hold by Rondo as he attempted to drive to the hoop in the season opener against the Boston Celtics. Rondo would not let go of the ball or the fact that Wade was not going to let go of it. In the process of trying to stop Wade, he clotheslined him and grabbed his arm. If they were playing in the streets, he may not have survived that maneuver without a fierce beat down.
Wade said he knows his young boys are watching, so he held his temper and it paid off. Rondo was charged with a flagrant foul and was pissed off because he felt that Wade was the one who trumped up the charge. (The video won’t lie to you.)
But a week prior to that, who’s this? Rondo…again! He’s posing for a picture with a girl wearing a shirt that says:
In the photo, he appears to be pointing at the girl. But, after this, I don’t think so. I could’ve wrote it off as though he was saying, “She’s wearing that t-shirt…Not me!” But now I think it was an endorsement. Maybe he needs some anger management before he gets mollywhopped.
But come to find out, this isn’t Rondo’s first rodeo with being out of control on the court. He was caught bumping up against a referree. Doesn’t he know that the baseball coaches don’t even get away with that?
We’re going to let you decide what’s really going on with Rondo. Check out the video. That brother needs a hug.
The clothesline and grab to Dwyane Wade.
