October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and many people come together to support the survivors and victims of the unconscionable disease in different ways. There are numerous charities that one can choose from if they want to help out, but a couple athletes thought they would put their paychecks to good use for you.
Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves and a player on the USA Men’s Basketball team in the 2012 Olympics and Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals–who has been called the best wide receiver in professional football–have joined forces in support of breast cancer awareness by creating a video of Larry cutting Kevin’s hair.
Kevin got the idea to cut his hair because he thought of all the women who shave and/or lose their hair to chemotherapy as they fight back against the disease. Larry Fitzgerald lost his mother to breast cancer in 2003, and shares his experience during the video.
Now this is where you come in! Kevin looks into the camera and gives you your instructions, saying:
“We wanna make this video as big as possible, so for every Twitter ‘Retweet’ or Facebook ‘Like’, we’re going to donate 25 cents to breast cancer charity. so get to pushin’ buttons. Sharing is caring!”
Check out the video and don’t forget! GET TO PUSHIN’ BUTTONS!
