The NFL hasn’t been the same since Terrell Owens affectionately known as T.O., was let go from the Seattle Seahawks in late August. There hasn’t been any bickering on teams, no one bad mouthing the coach or starting a back and forth with the quarterback. Yeah! The NFL has not been the same.
But, the NFL has survived. Now T.O. on the other hand has babies all over the place and baby mamas asking for their back child support and a controversial NFL past that haunts his opportunity to come back into the fold of any team. But after the NY Jets struggled through their game against the Houston Texans and lost due to some silly mistakes, T.O. made his move tweeting:
“Hey JETS!!! I’m available! I’m ready, willing & able! Call my agent @jordanwoy & let’s make it happen.”
But besides all of his contoversial past, Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum, just last week, told the Star Ledger that he was looking for a player who was
“speedy, younger than 30 and someone who took part in training camp.”
T.O. is 38, but he hasn’t been completely ruled out, but ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, it’s a long shot. Some people tweeted back:
“Don’t lower your standards,” one follower responded.
Another tweeted, “stop dropping balls an maybe they would” — to which a feisty Owens fired back, “name a receiver tht hasn’t dropped a ball. #ignorance.”
Folks can be so cold!
