There are many conservatives (Mitt Romney) that are clueless when it comes to hiding the racist rhetoric that is at the core of their beliefs. They are sometimes so completely involved in their need to be right, they let some things slip.
But not Ann Coulter! She says what she means and means what she says. When she opens her mouth, she does it with the full intention on not being thought a fool, but removing all doubt. During the roundtable discussion on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos the conversation went to immigration reform and how Latinos vote weigh into the elections. Well, Coulter let the cat out of the bag for the GOP implying that the Republicans finally have a chance at the African American vote. I know…dumbest thing you ever heard, right?
But Jorge Ramos, anchor from Univision, said that the Republicans better step up their game on immigration reform or they will totally lose the hispanics:
“…If Republicans don’t do something with immigration … they’re going to lose not only this election, they might lose the White House for a generation.”
Then here comes Coulter with:
“That’s why the Democrats are dropping the blacks and moving on to the Hispanics.”
Coulter’s observations point out that minorities are merely pawns in the political game and there’s no love lost for African Americans because they’re no longer the game changer. But in her ignorance, she made the point that immigrant rights are not civil rights…which may be true. But whether this is the truth or not, Republicans are definitely not knocking down the minority door, black or Hispanic. The vote from minorities in this country will not soon be homogenized and Republicans are incurably backwards in their approach to race relations, so there’s a small chance at either vote for the GOP.
Yeah that Ann Coulter knows how to get the conversation started when it comes to race, doesn’t she? Read more here.
