The president is living the high life right now with winning poll numbers in key battleground states. He has managed to retrieve a silver lining from his public during the Libyan attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi and turn Mitt Romney’s unfair as well as unpatriotic words against him…and other attacks.
The president was the target of harsh criticism when Republicans took his remarks back in July:
“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life.Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business—you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
And shortened them to simply “You didn’t build that.” Wow! Now that’s really taken out of context. But, somehow the master of the political remix videos, Hugh Atkin (who is also an Australian lawyer and thankfully, a friend to the Obama administration) has struck again with a video that puts that statement into perspective and tells it like it REALLY is.
Watch as he masterfully sets Obama’s words along the campaign trail to music with the help of MC Hammer’s, “You Can’t Touch This!” and created “U Didn’t Build That By MC ‘BAMA”.
