Jonathan Goldsmith, actor and spokesperson for Dos Equis, is supporting President Obama with a fundraiser at his home.

The beer commercials are generally the same with jokes, action segments, and pretty ladies, but one stands out from the rest.  The Dos Equis commercials that feature a man that is the James Bond of beer.

Jonathan Goldsmith is the Dos Equis spokesman and has become known through the commercials as “The most interesting man in the world”.  But while he peaks the interest of so many others, he has trumped himself with his interest in President Obama. He finds him to be just a little more interesting than himself and will be having a fundraiser in his Burlington, Vermont home in support of the president’s election.

The tickets for the event will range from $20 to $500.  Dos Equis has great popularity among Facebookers with three percent or 24,000 likes from President Obama fans.  Goldsmith has had meetings with the Democratic governor of the state, but the only party we’re certain he’s affiliated with is the “after party.”  Goldsmith believes in a two-party system.  In his own words:

“The after party…is the one you want to attend.  Stay thirsty my friends.”
