The ocean has slowly become more dangerous and lethal around the world. It seems that it may not be the best idea for summer entertainment anymore with sharks and other deadly sea life popping up in places they are not normally seen. On Tuesday, we reported on the guy up in Cape Cod who was being “tailed” by a shark. And that was his first time getting out on the water in a kayak…probably his last…at least at that beach.
Sarah Brame is another person who won’t soon forget her trip to the beach. She went fishing on a dock in Cherry Grove, South Carolina, with her fiance’ and stepdad when she was trying to haul in her catch, a red drum, when out of nowhere “a 5-foot-long bull shark jumps through the water and steals the line”, according to New York Daily News.
The video is startling, so you can imagine how Brame felt:
“I was actually kind of scared because I seen it jump and actually thought it could jump up here and get me,” Brame told local station WPDE. “Because the tide was all the way up, and it was probably 3 feet below me.”
Check it out for yourself. I would’ve had the same hysterical reaction she had:
“It’s a shark! It’s a shaaaaaaaark! It’s a big ass shark!”
