Tamron Hall and Lawrence O'Donnell, both on MSNBC, is rumored to be dating.
The media is sprouting up celebrities of its own every day. Everyone knows Matt Lauer, Anderson Cooper, Al Roker, Katie Couric, and the O, but there are more and more TV anchors gaining popularity and we’re delving into their private lives just as much as entertainment celebrities.
The newest anchors gaining popularity are Lawrence O’Donnell of the The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell show on MSNBC and Tamron Hall also on MSNBC. It appears that the duo have so much in common that it is being rumored that they are dating. O’Donnell, 60, has been in the news game for more than 25 years. The political analyst is much more than a journalist, but he is also an actor, producer, writer, that is also an Emmy winning producer and writer for the popular television series The West Wing.
But more recently, he showed off his kick ass reporting style in March when we reported his critical interviews for the Trayvon Martin case where he poked holes in George Zimmerman’s case and backed his entire camp into a corner causing his attorney to flee the studio before he could even get one question in.
Tamron Hall, 41, in comparison, is new to the scene and helms NewsNation which also airs on MSNBC. But both Hall and O’Donnell are bulldog reporters that, when required, have an in your face, no backing down style to telling the truth and keeping Republicans in their place. You may remember her recent smackdown of a Mitt Romney supporter we reported on May 14.
Hall joined MSNBC in 2007, but her pretty face has been seen in many other roles including hosting for “Today” and “Weekend Today.” She has also hosted several special reports for MSNBC and NBC News, including“Education Nation: Teacher Town Hall,” which has been nominated for an Emmy Award. Tamron also served as correspondent of the NBC News special “The Inauguration of Barack Obama,” which won an Emmy for Outstanding Live Coverage in October 2010.
So the age difference and yes, race, might make one think they are an unlikely couple, but their love of news and professionalism would make them a power couple of the media. The New York Post has repored that O’Donnell was once linked to Kerry Washington in 2008. It appears that O’Donnell is THE MAN.
