Microsoft's new rival of the iPad. The Surface.
The technology that exists today is growing faster than we can utilize it. Before you can start using your new gadget, it’s obsolete. There’s yet another toy on the technological playground preparing to start a frenzy on the communications market.
So far, Apple has dominated and has been the reason for the creation of Pads that rival their iPad. But now Microsoft will throw their hat in the ring with the new “Surface.” They haven’t given the launch date and price of their Pad. That information is a significant identifier into the longevity and competitiveness of the device.
According to the Huffington Post:
“It is one of the few times in company history that Microsoft engineered both the hardware and the software of a device, with the Surface joining the Zune MP3 player, Kin smartphone, and Xbox 360 gaming console.”
