In 2009, we reported an unbelievable story that drew a heap of skeptics because a child that was in a coma for six months came out of the coma during a church service via a laying on of hands. But a story out of Brazil is kind of the opposite as a child wakes from the dead, but collapses again.
Two-year old Kelvin Santos had been treated for pneumonia at a northern Brazil hospital, but was unable to be saved. He was pronounced dead at 7:40pm Friday, June 1, and his family held an overnight wake for the child. As his father, Antonio Santos, sat near his coffin mourning his son, his spirits were soon lifted with the child sitting up an hour before his funeral Saturday morning saying:
‘Daddy, can I have some water?’
But to the terrifying dismay of the parents and all the family members present, little Kelvin laid back down and was again lifeless. He was raced to medical professionals to see if they could revive the child, but to no avail, there was nothing they could do.
What was this? Was this a last spirit minute in this world as he passed on to the next? Why did he ask for water? This is a baffling and horrifying experience for the family.
