New York Giant Traded, Child Sends Piggy Bank to Bring Him Back

Brandon Jacobs was a running back for the New York Giants, but was recently traded to the 49ers. One of his littlest fans thought he could entice him to stay in New York with his piggy bank's $3.36.

There’s a lot of little football fans out there that take the game much more seriously than the players and their parents.  They want their favorite player’s jersey, their poster, and now their job.

Little 6-year old Joe was broken up by finding out that his favorite New York Giant, Brandon Jacobs, was traded to the San Francisco 49ers.He couldn’t believe that his hero was leaving and he wanted answers.  So he asked his mom what was going on.

According to the Daily Mail, Joe’s mother Julie Armento, told him that the Giants could no longer afford Jacobs, so he went to another team.  Well that just would not do!  Joe hurried to devise a sure-fire plan to get him back.  So he bust open that piggy bank and sent Jacobs a letter.  He was certain that he could not resist his $3.36.

Jacobs was moved by the letter and tweeted a pic of the money and letter saying:

“I almost cried, I am still trying to hold it in. I may have to pay him a surprise visit.”

He added that he wanted to meet Joe and introduce him to his son, who is five. Wow!  Jacobs will surely deliver on his words and we can’t wait to see Lil’ Joe’s dream come true.  Ok, so what! We’re getting a little sappy here.  Would you rather we report on more zombies chomping their way through your back door?
