Arizona Secretary of State Possibly Keeping President Off Ballot

Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett wants verification of the president's birth certificate.

We have said a million times that our president is the most disrespected president to ever grace the position.  And as many times as that fact is pointed out, the disrespect does not seem to let up.  Now that it’s election time, we’re back in the middle of the birther issue with one official making an issue of the president’s birth certificate.

In Arizona, home of the “We don’t celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.  Day,” the secretary of state there, Ken Bennett, insists he’s not a birther, but he’s challenging the existence of the president’s birth certificate.  He has to have verification that it is indeed in the hands of the state of Hawaii before he will have the president placed on the ballot for Arizona voters, according to USA Today.

You gotta know it’s coming! I can’t help it! C’MON SON! GET THE BUCK OUTTA HERE WITH THAT BULL SHIGGIDY!  What did the police captain say in Malcolm X, “This is too much power for one man to have.”  This is ludicrous behavior for someone who is “exploring” running for governor in 2014.  He insists that he’s not a birther though:

“First, I have been on the record since 2009 that I believe the president was born in Hawaii. I am not a birther,” Bennett said in his statement.  “At the request of a constituent, I asked the state of Hawaii for a verification in lieu of certified copy,” he said. “We’re merely asking them to officially confirm they have the president’s birth certificate in their possession and are awaiting their response.”

Whatever happened to “My name is Bennett and I ain’t in it!”  Him and this mysterious constituent is probably thinking they’re doing something ingenius that will make him a Republican darling. But, something tells me that he’s making an ass of himself.
