The Trayvon Martin case gets more disgusting by the moment as so-called entrepreneurs try their best to profit from the tragedy. The latest jackass thought they’d turn a buck by selling targets of all things.
According to the Black Youth Project, an “unidentified entrepreneur” also known as a George Zimmerman loyalist, went to a popular firearms auction website to sell their Trayvon Martin inspired “targets.” The target is a clear depiction of the slain teenager:
“The target is reportedly shaped like a hoodie and features cross hairs on the front. A bag of skittles are tucked into the pocket, and the left hand holds a can of iced tea.”
The unknown Zimmerman supporter could possibly be raising money for Zimmerman. The report includes a remark from the seller:
“The seller also claims that the response to the targets has been “overwhelming,” adding, “I sold out in 2 days.”
BYP also reported from the WTSP report that George Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara commented on the sell of the targets saying:
“This is the highest level of disgust and the lowest level of civility.”
