How would you like to be able to access your hard drive anywhere you go? That includes your music, photos, files, everywhere…you…go? It sure would save a lot of us that don’t back up files and have experienced a system crash. Yikes!
Google is planning to launch a Cloud storage service next week. The service will be under the name Google Drive, according to ABC. Consumers will be able to get 5GB of free service, but pricing for anything beyond the 5GB has not been released.
The service will rival Dropbox which is the leading online storage service that presently boasts 25 million users. Google started with 5 free gigs to get a food into the online storage service business because Dropbox only offers 2GB of free storage. There additional storage is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year for 50GB of storage.
