The tragedy of Trayvon Martin’s death has not completely permeated the nation as we expected. The disrespectful electronic construction sign outside Detroit depicting him as a racial slur and now the black cultural center on The Ohio State University’s campus has been vandalized with “Long Live Zimmerman” written across the outside of the building. But, if you think that’s disrespectful, George Zimmerman chose to use it for wallpaper on his new website.
That’s right! George Zimmerman has a brand new website to help him cover his expenses–as he’s unable to work now–and support his legal expenses. If he was locked up, he wouldn’t have to worry about his living expenses. The state wouldn’t mind covering them. But, as it is, he’s public enemy #1 and reaping the benefits of his status.
Since NBC Nightly News Correspondent Mara Schiavocompo tweeted that Zimmerman launched a website and inquired whether it was authentic yesterday, he has removed the site’s initial wallpaper that included the vandalized Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center. What’s next? Will he be posting the hacked construction sign as well? Let’s hope that the prosecutor’s office will seek to arrest this fool as soon as possible seeing as how she will play God on this one and not use the grand jury for indictment.
