What has happened to the days of a good ol’ after game party where everyone just partied hard as they repped their team wearing college jackets and/or other school paraphernalia?  What has happened when you can’t go to a college party without getting shot?  The parents that send their children off to college to get an education have been experiencing something similar to sending their children off to Iraq.  For the last 20 years, there has been more hazing, shooting and other mysterious deaths in college than ever before; and last night was no exception.

According to the Daily Mail, at least 17 people were shot in Jackson, Tennessee, at about 2am. The melee erupted inside Karma nightclub during what was supposed to be a regular party following a game between Lane College/Lemoyne-Owen College on Saturday.  At least three people were reported to have had guns.

One college student, Todd Lecarlos, 19, of Lane College, lost his life in the gun battle.  Authorities are interested in two unidentified men in the shooting incident.  How did this happen?  Does anyone know anything? Please say this ridiculous tragedy didn’t happen because someone stepped on someone’s shoes.
