The Grammys were full of surprising performances and great music. The artist of the night that won a Grammy in every category she was nominated is Adele. The young, soulful, british artist is clearly talented and surely she knows talent when she sees it. She’s as excited about Bestman as we are.
Last year, the Academy Awards closed with New York’s PS-22 Choir. A member of that choir is Denise Bestman, who the world has come to know as the voice of a new Target commercial that was aired during the Grammys. During the commercial, she belts an awesome version of Adele’s “Rolling In the Deep” while wearing headphones and harmonizing with classmates on a city bus.
The commercial sparked an unusual celebrity for Bestman. The Target commercial as well as a PS 22 performance where she leads the choir on the same song has gone viral on YouTube. Even Adele has linked her website to Bestman’s YouTube performance. Her future looks quite bright from here.
