Arizona Rep. Calls for a Holiday for Whites? (Video)

Arizona Rep. Cecil Ash trying to "lighten" the mood on the state floor when a Latino American holiday was proposed by Rep. Richard Miranda Jan. 30, 2012.

What’s up with all the racial insensitivity these days?  It looks like America has turned up the heat on race relations with the presidential election coming up.   The threat of a black man being President again and Latinos becoming the majority in AZ, have republicans thinking the world has gone stark raving mad!

Arizona’s governor, Jan Brewer, just finished wagging her finger in the President’s face and here we go with another republican in Arizona showing his behind.  Last week, Rep. Richard Miranda proposed that their be a Latino American holiday to celebrate the accomplishments of the Latino community.  The holiday proposition of course met with controversy and then a remark that should’ve been expected.

Rep. Cecil Ash hit the state’s house floor to end the debate saying:

“I’m supportive of this proposition. I just want them to assure me that when we do become in the minority you’ll have a day for us.”

Here…we…go!  His first thought is that when the white population becomes the minority, everyone else will be trying to get some “get back?!”  No comment.  Ash said because there was so much bickering over the subject, he was just trying to lighten things up!   Check out the report for yourself.
