Life appears to have gotten so unbearable for teenagers that those who want to escape have found ways around illegal drugs and their side effects. But, what they are swapping them for isn’t much better. Somehow, someone thought it would be a good idea to come up with creating Internet drugs that can be accessed, in some cases, for free.
According to News9 in Oklahoma last year, parents that were not aware of this “sonic drug” were alerted by a news flyer circulated in one high school to combat this legal stimulant that caused kids to laugh uncontrollably, shake violently, and exhibit signs of extreme shock and distress. The effects have been recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
Teens that have been visiting the sites have been solicited by other sites that offer connections to real drugs. So, the Internet sites where they are experiencing this trend referred to as “I-dosing” are a sort of gateway to the drug world.
