Some people get cold feet when they are preparing to get married. It’s a totally understandable issue with a lot of people preparing for their upcoming nuptials. But how do we determine whether those “cold feet” are really signs of genuine depression and dread? Unfortunately, a gauge for pre-marital emotion has not been invented and one man is dead from what authorities believe was directly attributed to the “pressures” of marriage.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Fernando Brazier, 28, married his high school sweetheart, Trudian Hay, 26, last weekend and after having a night of fun and dancing at their reception, Sunday morning he caught a cab to a location where he would jump to his death into the Harlem river. According to Brazier’s sister, Shawna Weeks, in an interview with the New York Post she said:
‘He would tell me that Trudy was a good person [but] he didn’t want to marry her; he was feeling like he was pressured.’
Brazier leaves behind two little girls, five and two years old, and no more excuse for his actions than he “couldn’t take it anymore.” Read the full story here.
